In the beginning God gave Adam the keys to the Kingdom and dominion over all things. Because of Adam’s disobedience the inheritance of dominion was lost. God’s plan was always to have a corporate son (His Church) in authority on the earth.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ gives us an opportunity to reconcile ourselves back to God, and as we begin to grow into His stature and likeness our true royal identity and authority is discovered. Jesus Christ came to this world not only as a Savior but also as a King from an invisible Heavenly Kingdom, He colonized earth with the culture of heaven during His time on the earth, and for us who have found Him is the expectation that we continue to do what Jesus did, preach, teach and demonstrate the Kingdom of our Lord and His Christ.

The Kingdom of God and the culture that governs it contradicts the systems of this world. This invisible heavenly culture can only be established and governed by the Word of God. The more we engage the depth of God’s Word, the more we begin to realize that we are not  displaced heirs just existing in a life of bondage and misery, we begin to recognize the original intent of God and move fearlessly into our royal identity as sons of God, ‘Those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit who makes you sons. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” (Romans 8:14-15 NIV). With His Word and Spirit in us we begin to take dominion and exercise the authority that Jesus Christ conferred on us. When we leave the structures of organized religion which is foreign to the culture of the Kingdom of God, it is then that we can practically exercise divine authority in all spheres of this world from family, workplace, social and all other institutions of this world. By allowing God to use us to display the culture of the Kingdom we begin colonizing the earth with our interactions to it.
